GSA has an outstanding visiting artist program which enables the departments to bring in professionals from around the United States and the world, for teaching residencies ranging from one to eighteen weeks. Additionally, students benefit from master classes given by renowned guest artists who have included Isaac Stern, James Galway, Dolora Zajick, Ellis Marsalis, Dale Chihuly, Emilio Santini, Chuck Mangione, Ani Kavafian and Ellie Ameling.
