Where are applications available? |
Applications
for The Governor's School for the Arts are available at all participating
home schools, usually through the guidance office. Interested students
may also call the office of The Governor's School to request applications

Who
can apply to The Governor's School for the Arts? |
Any student currently in 8th - 11th grade may apply to audition for the following school year. To be eligible to attend, students must be enrolled in one of the eight participating public school divisions. (Chesapeake, Franklin, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, or Virginia Beach) | ||||||
How are auditions scheduled? |
The Governor's School for the Arts schedules auditions for any student currently in 8th-11th grade after application is received. Audition date, time and location along with audition guidelines are sent as soon as possible after receipt of application.
