The National High School Dance Festival is pleased to announce dates for the 9th Regional High School Dance Festival. This Festival will take place in Norfolk, Virginia at the Governor's School for Arts, The TRDance Center, Tidewater Community College, and the Marriott Norfolk Waterside Hotel - all within walking distance! The Festival will host more than 800 participants for a weekend of master classes, workshops and performances. A wide variety of dance forms will be offered including ballet, modern, jazz, African, musical theatre styles, rhythm tap, and improvisation.

Special guests include artists from the Richmond Ballet and
 Takako Segawa, a Japanese artist from Tokoyo, teaching traditional 
and contemporary dance.  A repertory workshop performance and 
a new informal concert will be added for 
student performers.

University, college, and summer dance programs are invited to disseminate information and recruit students.

The Festival intends to be a weekend of intensive study, sharing, learning, performing and dancing with friends and colleagues from around the East Coast. Don’t miss out!!!
